San Antonio, Texas... welcome the Naughton's!
That's right! My parents have moved back to Texas!!! They've been gone for too long and we're so happy that they're back and sooooo much closer to us! Mom, dad, and Mimi - my grandma - moved from Fayetteville, Georgia to San Antonio this past Friday. Fayetteville is just south of Atlanta - they drove away from their house on Wednesday and took the trip in 3 days. Donal, my brother, and I drove down to San Antonio for the weekend to help unload the truck and start getting the house looking like a home!
Just mom and dad made the drive from GA to TX... Mimi had been in Missouri visiting my aunt, uncle and cousins. She stayed there until I went to pick her up over the Memorial Day holiday. Pictures from that awesome trip are posted on my cousin's blog... I had the time of my life!!!! After that trip, Mimi was at our house for a few days until mom came to pick her up to take her the rest of the way to San Antonio. She loves the new 'temporary' house and has hopefully made herself comfy!
The temporary house... God has truly blessed my parents during this transition! We've got some great friends that recently moved from San Antonio to Utah and their house is still on the market to sell. While mom and dad are trying to sell their house in GA, God has provided our friends' home to be available for rent! So that is where my parents and Mimi will be living for a little while. Thank you Matt and Steph - we are blessed to have you as friends!
Why'd they move? My dad got a new job!! We pray that he loves and enjoys every minute of it!
So... I'm already trying to decide when my next trip to San Antonio will be! Anyone want to join me?!?
