where do i begin!? i guess i'll begin exactly where we still are...
on june 15th, donal started in the fort worth police academy! so today began his 6th week... out of 31 weeks total!!! it's been a crazy rollercoaster so far - for him and for me - but we are loving every minute! i absolutely love to see him so happy about his job and i am so insanely proud of him!! our weeknights have been consumed with preparing for the next day. our weekends have been consumed with rest and relaxation. donal spends LOTS of time studying and lots of time shining his boots - he is so proud when i can see my reflection in his progress, literally! he comes home each night and talks constantly about what he learned that day and it's obvious that he is totally soaking every bit in. i pray every night for the next day, that God will calm his nerves, relax his mind, and prepare his body for the tough workouts.
so that pretty much sums up our life since you last heard from me! exciting, right? to say the least... and i wouldn't change it for anything in the world!!
